    Description
    English: Sebastian is a Roman holy martyr from the 3rd century. A career soldier and Christian, he performed numerous miracles and contributed to numerous conversions. During the persecution of Diocletian, he was executed for his faith – first pierced with arrows and then killed with rods.

    Abbot Godescard (19th century) is the author of the book The Lives of the Holy Fathers & Martyrs.

    Français : Sébastien est un saint martyr romain du iiième siècle. Militaire de carrière et chrétien, il accomplit de nombreux miracles et contribua à de nombreuses conversions. Durant la persécution de Dioclétien, il fut exécuté pour sa foiː d’abord transpercé de flèches puis ensuite tué à coups de verges.

    L'abbé Godescard (XIXème siècle) est l'auteur du livre Les vies des saints pères & martyrs.
