Elisha of Shechem
Youngest of the young Samaritans shepherds kidnapped, along with his brothers Reuben and Issac, by the thieves of Mount Adomin at the very moment they have just lost their father. The thieves threaten to kill the ten-year-old shepherd boy and the children are narrowly ransomed by Jesus, who brings them back to his refuge in Ephraim.[1]
His father, a foreigner, had separated from his beautiful family. Then, as poverty arrived, he became a servant, and it is in these conditions that he dies. At the instigation of Jesus, their four uncles come to fetch the three brothers and the shepherd boy, who is also an orphan.[2]
