Candor

From Wiki Maria Valtorta

Jesus blesses young children, and gives us their Candor as an example - After Gustave Doré

Candor is the purity of the Soul shown through simple, good, and sincere behavior. It is that of children, or of those who know how to keep a childlike Heart, or Good who have been able to remake a child’s Soul despite the difficulties and Trials of life.

In "The Gospel as it was revealed to me"

  • You wonder: "Who among us is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?" (...) The one who is simple, humble, trusting, ignorant, therefore the child, or the one who knows how to remake a child’s Soul. It is not knowledge, nor power, nor wealth, nor activity, even if good, that will make you "the greatest" in the Blessed Kingdom. But to be like very small children through love, humility, simplicity, faith (...)[1]
  • And beware of scandalizing one of these little ones whose eye sees God. One must never give Scandal to anyone. But woe, thrice woe, to the one who defiles the innocent Candor of children! Leave them Angels, as much as you can. The world and the flesh are too repugnant for the Soul that comes from Heaven! And the child, by their innocence, is still all Soul. Respect the Soul of the child and their body itself, as you respect a sacred place. The child is also sacred because they have God in them. In every body is the Temple of The Spirit, but the Temple of the child is the most sacred and the deepest, and it is beyond the double Veil. Do not even stir the veils of the sublime ignorance of concupiscence by the wind of your passions.[2]
