The Miraculous Draught of Fishes.

Fisherman is the profession of the first Disciples of Jesus: Peter, Andrew, John, and James. In the Gospel, this profession is also used figuratively to represent the Mission of the Apostles, who must "fish" for Souls in order to bring them to Jesus and to God.

Miraculous Fish Catches

• First miraculous catch, Capernaum, May of the 1^st year: "Master, my arms are aching from having thrown and pulled up the net all night, and for nothing...." -
• Second miraculous catch: on the Sea of Tiberias, after the Resurrection. From the shore, in the mist, Jesus calls and guides the Apostles who have caught nothing.
