Sheep, Lambs

In the Gospel, the sheep each represent Souls that Jesus ardently wishes to To Save. He especially pursues with his love the lost sheep. The Christ is also called the Good Shepherd of God, because of his life given in sacrifice on the cross.
In "The Gospel as it was revealed to me"
- Parable of the lost sheep[2] in Capernaum. This parable is especially addressed to Mary of Magdala (Magdalene) on the path of conversion.[3]
- Go to the lost sheep of the people of Israel.[1]
- And I have other sheep, but they are not of this fold.[4]
- One of the Apostles speaking of Jesus: Do you recall the parable of the lost sheep? The truth, the key to his way of acting is found in this parable. When he sees that his faithful sheep follow him or stay where and as He wants them, his spirit rests, but he uses this rest to run after those who are lost (...) the others... the sinners, the lost! ... He must run after them, attract them by his love and his miracles, by his power. And he does.[5]
- Those who love me have recognized me as Shepherd because of my words and my works. But you do not believe, you cannot believe, because you are not of my sheep.[6]
- My sheep know me and will know me and will always follow me, even on the bloody and painful paths that I will travel first, and that they will travel after Me.[7]
