Christ, Messiah, Christianity, Parousia
According to the Gospel and the Christian faith, Jesus is the Christ, the one who was anointed with royal oil, the Messiah, the Redeemer.
In "The Gospel as It Was Revealed to Me"
Christ
- Love predestined by Mary for Christ.[1]
- I had been God. I had become Man. Now, victorious over the animal attached to human nature, I was the Man-God.[2]
- You are the Christ, the Son of the living God! ([3]-[4]-[5]) and [6]
- Only those who unite a perfect faith with a perfect love will come to know the true meaning of the words: "Jesus, the Christ, the Word, the Son of God and the Son of man".[7]
- The Christ is the consecrated one, the one who was anointed with royal oil to accomplish his Mission. Consecrated to gather all men under one scepter, into one people, under one Doctrine, so that they may be brothers to each other, and children of a single Father, children who know the Father and follow his Law to take part in his Kingdom.[8]
- The Christ, when he comes, no one will know from where he comes.[9] and [10]
- So you know me and you know where I come from? Are you sure of it?[11] and [12]
- In truth, truly I say to you: before Abraham was born, I am.[13] and [14]
- If you are the Christ, tell us plainly. - I have told you. In homes, on plazas, on roads, in villages, on mountains, along rivers, facing the sea, before the deserts, in the Temple, in synagogues, in markets I have told you, and you do not believe.[15]
- Since I am One with the Father and with Love, One here as in Heaven—if in Me exist the two natures, and the Christ, by human nature and as long as his victory has not freed him from human limits, is in Ephraim and cannot be anywhere else at this moment; as God: Word of God, I am in Heaven as on Earth, my Divinity always omnipresent and all powerful.[16]
Messiah
- Jesus as a youth speaks of the Messiah—himself—with the Doctors of the Temple.[17] and [18]
- Who am I? The Expected, the Promised, the Redeemer.[19]
- Look at your Master who did not have the Consciousness of being superior to man because He was the Messiah and who, even knowing He was Man, wanted to be so in every way except in condescension to evil. There you have it: that is how it is.[20]
- The signs by which the Disciples of John the Baptist will recognize the Messiah.[21]
- Are you the Messiah ... question asked by envoys of the Baptist - Capernaum.[22]
- We have known, at least by reputation, pretended Messiahs. And I assure you that their private lives disproved in them the most stubborn claims to messiahship.[23]
- I am the one who preaches Eternal Salvation. I am the Way to go to the True God, the Truth that gives itself, the Life that vivifies you. I am not a sorcerer who performs wonders. These are manifestations of my goodness and your weakness, which needs proofs to believe.[24]
- The Messiah is what God told our ancestors […] And we, with the centuries and generations behind us, believe in the Messiah we imagined, the Avenger, the human King, very human, and we fail, despite what we say and believe, to conceive of the One who is Messiah and King as He truly is, as thought and willed by God.[25]
- It is I, I alone who am the Door of the Flock of Heaven. Whoever does not enter through Me cannot enter. Certainly, there have been other false Messiahs and there will be more. But the one and only true Messiah is Me.[26] and [27]
- Few, very few, in crushed Man crucified will recognize the Messiah. Few will recognize him as "the true Messiah," precisely because he will be crushed as the prophets saw.[28]
Christianity (Christians)
- The world is here. The world of tomorrow in the little Israelite pure who will not even realize that he will become the "Christian"; the world, the old world of Israel in the Zealot; humanity in John, the Gentiles in Sintica.[29]
Parousia
- The Son of man, once gone, will return only at his Day of Judgment. And then his manifestation will be like lightning that shines and flashes from one point of the sky to another, so quickly that the eye struggles to follow it.[30]

The Notebooks of 1943
- Catechesis of July 14: God is not the monopoly of Catholics, and those Catholics who do not exert themselves for non-Catholics make a serious mistake. They do not work for the interests of the Father and are only parasites who live off the Father without giving filial help.[31]
- Catechesis of December 2: I will come tirelessly and individually to try the doors of Hearts, and where I am opened, I will enter and make my dwelling of Peace. I will come because I am still the Desire of the just on earth and of the saints for the earth, I will come to assume my Reign for my second coming and my final triumph.[32]
