Brothers, Brotherhood

The pilgrims of Emmaus on the road with the resurrected Jesus whom they have not yet recognized. When He reveals Himself to them, they turn back and decide to go warn those in Jerusalem, their "brothers in faith."[1] - James Tissot, Brooklyn Museum.
Those who follow Jesus Christ are called to treat one another as brothers, and to love one another with the Love with which the Christ has loved them.

- You must say: "We are all alike. We all have the same faults and we all need the same teaching. Brothers in our personal or national faults, we must now become brothers in the knowledge of the Truth and in the effort to put it into practice."[2]
