To Judge, Judges, Judgment
In the Gospel and in the work of Maria Valtorta, the Christ asks everyone not to judge their Neighbor, judgment being reserved for God, who alone sees the Heart.
In "The Gospel as Revealed to Me"
- But if you have never sinned, how can you judge the sinners![1]
- Do not judge. Oh! do not judge![2]
- He who believes in the Only Son is not judged. He is already saved, because this Son speaks to the Father and says: "This one loves me". But the one who does not believe, it is useless for him to perform holy works. He is already judged because he has not believed in the name of the Only Son of God[3].[4]
- It is to Me that the Eternal has given all judgment.[5]
- Too, too many are those who are led into complete ruin by the severity of a judgment, moreover Unjust.[6]
- Entrust everything to God, even the judgment of people. As long as you can be like a child that the good God leads, why want to burden yourself with the weight of deciding and judging?[7]
- You cannot judge me. You are the ones who are judged and not those who judge, and the One who judges you is God.[8]
- Wisdom, being a form of holiness, always gives the light of judgment, whether on past or present events, or for the announcement of future events[9]
- You know what Deuteronomy says, speaking about judges and magistrates.[10]
- I came into the world to bring the light and the knowledge of God and to test men and judge them. This time that is mine is a time of choice, election, and selection.[11]
- And you too, judges of the earth, be holy. (...) Ask yourself if, betrayed, abandoned, goaded, you would have been better than the one who before you awaits their sentence. By making a severe examination of conscience, ask yourself if any Woman can accuse you of being the true murderers of the child she has suppressed, because after moments of joy, you have shirked your duty of honor. And if you can do this, then you can be severe.[12]
In other works of Maria Valtorta
Notebooks 1943
- Catechesis of May 13[13] : Do not judge. You cannot know anything. There are things I permit. There are others that I provoke. None is without purpose. And none is rightly understood by you, humans. I alone am Judge and Savior […] I understood in this Light that you must love everyone, judge no one, forgive all, live only from God.

In the Bible
