Sexuality, Sensuality, Lust

    From Wiki Maria Valtorta

Lust is a vice that consists of seeking carnal pleasures outside of the holy order willed by God.

In "The Gospel as It Was Revealed to Me"

    • Procreation and fornication: "Consider the animals, all the animals. Have you ever seen a male and a female go to each other for a sterile embrace and an impure relationship? No"[1]
    • You shall not commit impurity of the body nor of consent - "Marriage means procreation and the act signifies and must be fertilization. Without that, it is immorality." [2]
    • As his desperate mother begs him, Jesus speaks to the young leprous debauchee who had an adulterous relationship with the young woman of a customer of his father. Jesus is sad: "And when you have sinned, did you not think of your mother? You were mad to the point of forgetting that you had a mother on the earth and that there was a God in Heaven. And if the leprosy had not appeared, you would never have remembered that you were offending God and your Neighbor? What have you done with your Soul... with your youth?" - "I was tempted..." - "Are you a child to ignore that this fruit is cursed? You deserve to die without my pity." (He still heals him of his leprosy).

I accomplished the miracle because of this poor mother. But lust disgusts me to the point that I am outraged. You cried out from fear and disgust of leprosy. For Me, my Soul cried out in disgust of lust. All miseries surround me, and for all I am the Savior. But I prefer to touch a dead, a just man already decomposed in his flesh who was honest and is already at Peace with his spirit, than to approach a lustful. I am the Savior, but I am the Innocent. (...) I understand that you would want something else from Me. But I am incapable of it. The ruin of a barely formed youth destroyed by passion has disturbed me more than if I had touched Death. Let us go to the sick. Not being able, because of the nausea that strangles me, to be the Word, I will be the Salvation of those who hope in Me. Peace be with you."

In fact, Jesus is very pale, as if he were suffering. He only recovers his smile when he bends over sick children and invalids lying on their stretchers. Then, he becomes Himself again (...).[3]
    • Loving does not mean yes, to the flesh and through the flesh. That is not love, it is sensuality[4]
    • Satan has worked on your male sensuality. In your wife, you saw an object of pleasure. An object of pleasure for you, you judged her the same for others, hence your feverish jealousy, your fear without reason, your guilty tyranny that made her a frightened, imprisoned, tortured, slandered woman.[5]
    • This slavery is the beginning of all others. The slave of lust becomes a thief and embezzler, cruel, murderer, to serve his mistress. It is through the flesh that Satan entered into man, it is through the flesh that he enters.[6]
    • Lust is disorder. A disorder guided by a free and conscious intelligence, which knows that its desire is evil but wants to satisfy it anyway. Lust is disorder and Violence against the natural laws, against justice and love towards God, towards ourselves, towards our brothers. Every lust. That of the flesh as well as that aimed at riches and the power of the Earth.[7]
    • Lust exists both in the one who sins and in the one who desires to sin.[8]
    • Sensuality can only attract those who do not nourish themselves with the supernatural and who abhor sacrifice.[9]
