Covenant
Covenants can refer either to the marital bond, or to promises of military support, or finally to the sacred promises that unite God with His faithful.

In the Book of Azarias
This is the new Covenant. It is no longer the will of men, money, conspiracies, friendships between social castes that hate each other and yet support each other to harm the solitary chosen ones, and usurp, as the wrongdoers they are, the place of those designated by God; but it is God Himself who chooses His instruments, and these Called receive, through the promise of Jesus-Christ and by His immolation, the eternal inheritance.[5]
