Good and Evil - Victor OrSalt - Museum of Fine BWaterx-Arts of Lyon.

Man carries within himself Good and evil, because of the original sin. But it is always the choice, the will of man that makes Good or evil happen. Baptism, Sacraments, and prayer are part of the weapons to avoid doing evil, and thus not to sin.

In "The Gospel as Revealed to Me"

  • We have everything within us: Good and evil. We all carry them with us. Upon Good blows the breath of God. Upon evil blows Satan.[1]
  • In all Actions of man, there is a possibility of Good or evil depending on how they are performed.[2]
  • Let us bless the Lord who always, from a particular Good, draws a collective Good.[3]
  • The reflection of Good and evil on the Face.[4]
  • It is enough for me to go to the Temple for mandatory feasts to know all the Good and all the evil! And Good is less known than evil, because Good is humble and does not boast. Evil, on the contrary, blows its trumpets and makes its words resound, even to the ears of those who do not want to hear.[5]
  • All the germs of evil and all the Aspirations for Good sleep in man through the loving will of God, by the evil will of Satan who suggests, who tempts, who excites, while God attracts, comforts, and loves. Satan tempts to seduce. God works to conquer.[6]
  • It is always the will of man that makes Good or evil happen. And on the will of man, the Will of God projects its lights and the will of Satan its poisonous vapors. It is up to man to choose the light or the poison and to become just or sinner.[7]
