Struggle

From Wiki Maria Valtorta

The life of man, if he wants to be faithful to God, is strewn with Struggles.

In "The Gospel as Revealed to Me"

  • Then, after the Struggle, comes the victory [...] One must have the will to overcome Satan, the faith in God and in His help. [...] Then Satan cannot do us harm.[1]
  • Why follow me, if following me implies a continual Struggle with the enemy within us, with the world enemy, with the Enemy who is Satan?[2]
  • An age-old challenge took place between the Eternal and Satan [...] "Your creatures will be forever mine... This dwelling, yours, from which You drove me out, from which you drove out the only intelligent one among your creatures, will remain empty, useless, sad, like all things that are useless." And the Eternal replied to the Accursed: "That is still within your power as long as your venom alone rules man. But I will send my Word"... [...] It is the duel of Love Against Hatred, of Wisdom Against Ignorance, of Goodness Against Evil upon you and around you.[3]
